The Business SDG Awards is a signature initiative of the UN Global Compact local chapter, The Global Compact Network Tanzania (GCNT) aims to recognize, celebrate, and reward businesses creativity, capability, and results, that contribute towards the achievement of the 2030 Agenda, which is Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2023, the Business SDG Awards have been identifying and celebrating businesses across the country that have been re-thinking ways to drive progress towards the
2030 Agenda.
About The Network
The Global Compact Network Tanzania is a business-led platform, scaling and accelerating the collective business impact through the Sustainable Development Goals. As a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
The Network is a self-governing entity working closely with the UN Global Compact under an annual Agreement, to help you achieve your sustainability objectives and help shape the world’s sustainability agenda – guiding you throughout your sustainability journey.
